QLD 8/139 vs VIC
WA 1/85 vs NSW

SA need QLD and WA to win/draw.

SA 5/134 - Dalton out for 40, good low catch to Paine.

Really need VIC to win more than QLD - if QLD win, Redbacks need to score 47 more runs over 200 than QLD to jump them.

Might seem a bit premature, but with Hartley retiring, Paine getting older - would Alex Carey be next in line as a keeper? Handy batsman and excellent gloves.

We were talking about this on here a few weeks ago, probably Nevil next then Carey.

IMO the next cab off the rank should be Whiteman but he's injured ATM

I think Alex has better hands than Neville but Neville has shown himself to be better with the bat ATM
Let that be a lesson to you Port, no one beats the Bays five times in a row in a GF and gets away with it!!!

I'm not a fan of Whitenan, I think he has hands made of concrete but can see your point.

What is wrong with our batting, seems game in game out our batters get a start then bang out in the teens or 20's, FFS is so frustrating

I reckon Whiteman has great natural soft hands, based on what I've seen, purely my opinion though.

Having known Alex for over 8 years, I'd love to see him get a BG though.

QLD all out 208 - it's a long shot, but the Redbacks need to get to 255 minimum to overtake them!

Combination of good bowling for some wickets and a lack of disrespect and willingness to construct an innings from other e.g. Head/Lehmann.

Good healthy depth in the keeping ranks

I really hope that Carey continues to improve and ends up playing for Australia

SA 9/222, does Carey go the slap to get us past or back in Frankie?
