Go bays....i copped abuse all day, plenty of black, gold and white...pity about all the teal . What is Ginever gonna blame today? all year he has blamed poor goalkicking...without Hargy port would be horrible.

ah no defeat to the Pies all year, aint that sweet! last quarter won again, thats 9 last quarters ina row we have won

Timmy the chin tried to save the game in the last 1/4 by flooding, aint going to work Timmy, you flood against teams that have tall forwards, we are one of the best in the comp for contested ball...

Best goal was Salopek's under the scoreboard, he was copping it from Port fans when lining up, then kicked it and gave them the Hulk Hogan!!! Brilliant considering they were probably Power fans also!

great crowd and atmosohere, probably over 5000

Unfortunately that would mark the end of 2007 for the pies you would have to think....

But on a seperate note, did anyone think that the Hargraves hands in the back free kick in the second term was a joke? It was one of the worst decisions I have ever seen in any code of footy

Maybe it was just where I was standing (under the main stand) but I thought the crowd noise was just about the worst ive ever heard at the football. Last quarter aside when the home crowd started getting into it, barely heard a noise all day. As I said, maybe the noise went over the top of me but quite a few people around us said the same thing.

Great game of footy. Pity about the result. Well done to Glenelg. Mistakes ruined us yet again for about the 8th time this year. Far too much handball. Glenelg scored about 7 of their goals just from us over-handballing in defence.

Great game by Hargy (6 goals), LeCras and Krakouer. Perkins was alright as well.

Logan was BOG in my opinion. Salopek had a massive last quarter, possibly the match winner. Mcconnell bobbed up at the right time. Rudolph had a good game down back as well. Backwell was in everything.

Dissapointing that our season is now all bar over. Good luck to the Tigers in the finals...been a long time and they deserve some September action.

Think a lot of the Bay fans were too nervous to get ahead of themselves until late in that last qtr.
Interesting observation re Port's overuse of the handball. I would have said Glenelg's turnovers were what kept Port in it for so long. I reakon we smashed you around the stoppages and any handball turnovers in your back half was a direct result of extreme pressure. From my vantage point anyway.
Hargraves looked dangerous every time the ball went in long, was too strong for Rudolph and then Smith.
Logan was very, very good although I think Fisher's hardness* around the packs created a very unsettled Port onball division. Also thought Kane off half-back was probably b.o.g for us.
Glad we have the bye to get that extra rest for the final three games which are all extremely tough but by no means impossible.
Can the Bays be the 'dorse' of 07?

interesting you mention that, because it also seemed quiet over the radio, but i just figured it was the rph coverage set up, with somewhat varying level of crowd noise from week to week. perhaps it was nervous trepidation against the old foe

Hargraves has had some impressive games in the last month or so. Hes getting on in age obviously, so will be interesting to see if the club makes an attempt to keep him at the club for at least another year (reported in today's SM that he and Ladham's from North both considering retiring from SANFL footy at end of year and playing in the a country league, possibly Yorke Peninsula League).
