Yep had been great today so devastated to see him get out. Excellent start to the series for him, shit that he couldn't carry his bat and maybe ton up but he's showed his teammates the application they need to make runs.

We started so well (0/82 before the first wicket fell) so this is really frustrating to see us now at 7/199. Just hope the bowlers can scrap some more runs and build a partnership or two.

Woeful selections, someone needs to find out why these 2 keep getting selected over players that can actually bat and score runs

The coach keeps backing em in, why?

There was talk during the week that Boof and Smith didn't get the squad/team they wanted. Boof was asked the question during the week and it was easy to tell that this or something similar is in fact true.

Frustrating indeed. We will probably get a chance to field tonight so let's support the bowlers and hope they can get some assistance too.

Boof wanted Travis Head in the squad but the selectors wanted Mitch Marsh. Guess who won

Why can't we bat Starc at 7? We could play the extra bowler.

He has a Test batting average of around 25 and it's only been on an upward trajectory. He is not far away from being a genuine bowling all rounder. Marsh doesn't seem to specialise in anything which just shouldn't be promoted.

I reckon would be a decent score for any team that had more than one decent spinner....... unfortunately we don't

India to still hit over 400

Starc is a genuine number 8 and is a better allrounder than Mitch Marsh.

50 for Starc as he smacks another boundary. 53 from 47, Australia 9/250

Exactly. It would be such an asset if we could have someone to make runs at 7. We were so blessed to have Gilly for all of those years and then Lee/Warne would come in and hold up an end at a good pace.

50 partnership from 63 balls. Good application showed from Starc to back himself and play his natural game and Hoff to stick around.
