India are taking the piss. They really don't want to give you any help.

Exactly, they are obliged to give us a warmup game. They're not obliged to make it a quality one.

No disagreement but India pull the strings in world cricket these days. They can do what they want with impunity.

Don't we already do it to them?
Touring side usually gets a bunch of scrubbers in Canberra normally don't they?
Don't think any host nation gives decent warm up games anymore

India all out for 403 on day 3 of the tour match. Shreyas Iyer finished on 202 not out. Nathan Lyon took 4 wickets as Australia took a 56 run lead.

I dont think we can afford to go with a 5th bowler who isn't a solid bat (ala, M.Marsh, H.Cartwright etc etc)

The 2 spinners will be a very high proportion of our overs and our batting is to weak (especially our keeping position) that we cant afford to have 6th batsmen who is not a genuine bat.

I'm on a different planet if Wade is our first choice as keeper.
It will cost us big time.

How'd Alyssa go over there, you reckon???
Let that be a lesson to you Port, no one beats the Bays five times in a row in a GF and gets away with it!!!

Yep starting on a new channel 507, that channel doesn't start until tomorrow so that's why it's not in the guide

Are they just shifting the channels around to accommodate the new league channel?

Smith set to bat at number three in first test.

http://www.cricket.com.au/news/steve-sm ... 2017-02-22

Shane Warne picks his 11 for the first test-
Warner
S Marsh
Smith
Hanscomb
Maxwell
M Marsh
Wade
Starc
Swepson
Lyon
Hazlewood

http://www.cricket.com.au/news/shane-wa ... 2017-02-22

Only 4 specialist batsman Warnie? And throwing the young leggie into the fire straight away?

It'll make me sick if both Marsh's play together. I can cop Shaun in front of Khawaja, I can't cop Mitch just waltzing back into the side willy nilly like his recent shit form at test and shield level doesn't matter. Not confident on Maxwell but I would prefer to see him play over Mitch Marsh. Surely they cannot play Swepson in the first test?

Can't believe they are going to drop Khawaja at the expense of Shaun Marsh. Khawaja is all class and should be guaranteed number 3 at this point in time.

The top 5 positions should be set in stone given their recent performances against Pakistan.

Number 6 should either be Shaun Marsh or an all-rounder.

Starc, Hazlewood, Lyon, O'Keefe plus Wade is fine.

I don't like it but this is the most likely line up.

Because Khawaja is a walking wicket against spin. Does not have a clue how to play on a turning wicket

Should be S.Marsh at 6. Let Khawaja play the first test at least.

Haha read he article above and thought this was pretty awesome

"Smith played alongside Ashwin last year at the Rising Pune Supergiant in the Indian Premier League, but the cagey Indian would not give any secrets away, choosing to bowl leg-spin to the Australian in the practice nets."

Fox reporting this morning that hazelwood could be the one to miss out, and we play 3 spinners. Guess that would mean Mitch marsh would play and then agar or swepson comes in

That sounds terrible imo.

I reckon Starcy would be telling her to back up more as he starts his approach.
