Jets a competitive 221 vs West Torrens but I don't think they have the bowling to defend that. Daniel Drew 6 wickets - killing it this season.
Adelaide 4/357 vs WoodvilleLong day for the Peckers... only 4 wickets, one of them a run out. Raphael 148, tuning up for the Shield game.
Some juice in the deck at Uni? Won the toss and bowled, Port all out 77. Winter 8 wickets! Uni 200 ahead
Bays 292, Stingrays 3/43 in reply. Game over. George Hankins a ton. Surely one of the better young English prospects going around?
A day for the bowlers at Prospect. Browns all out 124... Pirates all out 73

K Smith back in form with 84*. Port had a huge win over top ranked Kensington. TTG look like holding off Woodville but game is still going, Peckers need 36 runs in 9 overs with 2 wickets remaining. Assume the semis will be WT v Glenelg and Port V TTG/Wood....

Port not impressed with Uni on the weekend. Although this came from Port source, they were told Wednesday night that the curator of Uni's oval was told to provide a green top that would produce 20 wickets, when he refused he was threatened with the sack if he did not do it.
Considering it is normally a road there, this is pretty disgraceful. They know they need outright wins to make finals, looks like it has worked this week anyway!

I would've thought that was one major benefit of home games in Turf cricket that you could prepare decks which would give your side the best chance to win?

Nah grain of salt that excuse....reckon Port got stitched on a first session seamer once the sun came out is was flat.
Not long ago I watched a 50 over game at University Oval and the side batting first found it extremely difficult than the side batting second.
