I don't think it's a bad deciscion not to take Cartwright to India but can't understand why he was picked as an 'all rounder' for the Sydney test his bowling is horrible.
The rest I agree with
To be honest and I'll probably get critiscm but I don't think Lehmann has done a very good as coach and some the standards Aussie cricket has set have really gone backwards.

Agree he has to play especially considering the questions marks over some others to play spin there.

"For me, while Matt Renshaw has done exceptionally well in Australia I'd be very tempted to play Shaun Marsh in the first Test," Waugh said during a fan chat on his official Facebook page.
"He has a proven track record and he was the incumbent opener before he was injured.
"I think he's ready to go at this level, he knows the conditions well, he's played in the Indian Premier League.
"It gives Australia a bit more experience. I would open the batting with him and Dave Warner."

I dont think we can afford to go with a 5th bowler who isn't a solid bat (ala, M.Marsh, H.Cartwright etc etc)
The 2 spinners will be a very high proportion of our overs and our batting is to weak (especially our keeping position) that we cant afford to have 6th batsmen who is not a genuine bat.

A very solid top order with Vijay back to opening.

No way in hell they will be playing 3 quicks against us, don't expect any wickets to look like the current test pitch
