United have hit the post twice in the first 20 minutes v Newcastle and Henrique missed a sitter.

Newcastle to score with their only chance of the game and win 1-0.

Make that 8, started fighting amongst themselves.
Do you have to pass a test to prove you're a wanker to be an AU supporter. One wanted to swing at a bar maid till I stepped in.
We have no problems at this pub when footy is on.

You're not at the Hope Inn are you?

I was there New Year's Day last season when we were denied the most obvious penalty you'll see. Went absolutely nuts, banging things. It was like a pub in Glasgow. A couple of regulars (who didn't look like soccer fans) suggested that the RA perhaps calm down a bit and then copped it from all sides. Legit funny.

Yep, That's where I am, I've driven most of the **** away.

Luckily the 36ERS were on in the front bar so I left them alone.

Sickeningly inevitable, they concede in the 93rd minute after giving up THREE clear chances in stoppage time. Usually the defence is reasonably reliable and they hardly have the excuse of a lack of experience. Pathetic performance.

The United players on today's performance don't deserve to play for Amor.

Thank Christ for that, so many morons will be unhappy and beating the shit out of each other. What's wrong with them? Adelaide City used to have the best supporters in the nation. Is it the Northern suburbs influence?
I quite often go to the pub and barrack foe Geelong in the football season yet we have no issues and that's with people barracking for different sides!

You obviously didn't get to many City games, we were in fights every other week. There were plenty of times we pelted the Croats with rocks or tried burning their flags

Yep Wedgie must have had his eyes shut, I use to get into so much trouble back in the city days, some of the away trips were amazing and dangerous as well

Use to love filling up an empty coke bottle with the free packet of pasta they use to hang out and then ditching them at away supporters.

The amount of flares back then was crazy as well

Yep, the away trips on the bus were the best. Some great trips to Sydney and Melbourne. The two Croat sides and South Hellas were the worst away fans

Went to most City home game for years (from 1977) and a lot of away games including finals (saw 2 flags), I was subjected to issues you've mentioned from the Croats but never saw City fans carry on like that.
From 1977 to the mid 90s I never saw Adelaide fans carry on like these moronic Adelaide United fans. I've said it before but how anyone could follow Adelaide owned by people like Greg Griffin is beyond me, they obviously don't care.
The only time in the 70s and 80s when I saw South Australian soccer fans carry on like these morons was when British teams played in town and the Elizabeth trains used to get wrecked hence why I can only assume it's a Northern suburbs issue.
How could any intelligent person want to be associated with these idiots?
The funny part about it tonight is a four foot ten bar maid scared a heaps of these idiots off, not to mention the sight of me (an old man) sent them running. They're just gutless idiotic morons.

91/92 was awesome.
Even better for the fact we didn't feel the need to destroy pubs that offered us a home to watch away games like these Northern suburb ferals that follow AU. Thank Christ they don't go to the footy anymore!
Watching a World War 2 doco ATM and I'm finding myself barracking for the Japs and Germans!
I've seen very similar to tonight at Central games over the years, these morons can't find someone to fight (or find a tiny bar maid too tough) so start bearing into each other. Wish this sort of thing never came to my country.

Doh!
Its quite interesting as the Japs were keen to have indigenous people taking back the countries that were rightfully there's and eliminate the Western Europeans who had invaded these countries. It's amazing how what we were taught in school has another side that might have much more higher morale ground than we thought!

All clubs have them. The Victory and Wanderers fans are far worse. Most of the supporters at AU games are fine, I tend to find it is the ones who go to pubs on away games that carry on like idiots.

Nah, I've been to three AU home games and it's no different to away games at the pub, normally the pub is fine. My 2 kids and I got abused and then when I got out of my seat in the away bay to confront them they ran off like frightened scum. They're parasites.
At least at the pub you can go to the front bar and watch a game of basketball with basketball fans and just enjoy the spectacle.

I go to nearly every home game and would of seen 4 or 5 serious incidents over the whole time. Plenty of abuse but no violence. At the end of the day we are quite civilised here, go to some games overseas if you want an eye opener. Atleast you don't get darts or urine filled balloons thrown at you here. And if you don't like racism don't head to a game in Italy or Gemany lol

Mariners look better in red trim and shorts rather than their usual blue.

Some sort of fund raiser for surf live savers. Appropriate since the ground is on the beach.
