Good that others have stepped up though, he still has equaled his assist record though. Sobey has been fantastic down the stretch.

Only saw the second half another great win. Season series against the Kings wrapped up too 3-0.

7 wins in a row and must be a good 2 games clear on top of the ladder now.

End of season NBL awards night might be interesting!

Most valuable player: Randle

Most improved player: Sobey

The energy the Sixers show is something else. How much longer they can keep it up for is another question. If they keep it up when it matters no one will beat them in this league. This year the bottom teams have improved out of sight and the top teams perhaps aren't as good as some in years gone by.

Their drive as a group right now is phenomenal and there is still so much upside.

A bit of news today first the good news the NBL have expanded the Grand Final series back to a best of five game format rather than the best of three game format that has been used for the last seven years. I think that's a good decision as in a Best-of-3 GF one bad game can pretty much cancel out any chance you have of winning the title. The two semi-final series before that will remain best of three.

The bad news is the Brisbane Bullets have confirmed Cameron Bairstow will be out for the rest of the season after injuring his ACL in last night's game against Illawarra and the Sydney Kings have also announced that centre Julian Khazzouh won't play this season due to his ongoing quadriceps tendon injury. Bad news for both teams.

The Sydney Kings have announced the signing of third import Garrett Jackson a 6'7" forward who has been playing in the SEABL with North-West Tasmania the past couple of years and had a brief stint as an injury replacement import with Melbourne United last season.

I would've thought a guard might be in order.
