Disagree, I think the Norm winner MUST be from the winning side. Can't cop a bloke whose team gets beat winning the medal.
As for Bevo's / Bob's medal. 22 players could give Bob the medal, doesn't make him a premiership player and he knows that. Beveridge can give his medal to whoever he wants.

It shits me to tears when armchair footy coaches bang on about free kick counts. They are ******* useless without first to the ball statistics. You are far more likely to get a free kick if you are playing in front of your opponent....
