...yet, perhaps I should have said....yet. Granted.

Wells games played;
2011 - 21
2012 - 20
2013 - 22
2014 - 10
2015 - 2
2016 - 19

How is Jim in his position if he thinks that's 4% of the games? Considering it was a pretty bad achilles injury it's remarkable he got back to the level he was playing at through this year, let alone playing at all. If North have been over paying him, in Brayshaws view, whose fault is that?

Lost 9 of the last 12, delist 2 club greats and 2 others the week before a knockout final, lose knockout final by 10 goals, departing CEO fires a shot at one of the clubs current stars for shopping himself around and taking money for nothing, has a crack at the player manager in the same chirp...all going swimmingly. :lol:

When did wells sign his last contract? Surely you can't blame a guy for getting injured. Especially when he was pretty durable before that

He's just finished a 3 year deal, some reports say he's only been offered a 1 year extension at North, some reports say two.

North looking at 2010 Collingwood premiership player Nathan Brown. 28 year old, Nathan Brown.

Maybe Bradshaw meant to say 40% games played?

Still though, why would you stay if you were wells - when they do that to one of their greatest ever players

Would of been better to do it over a period of time rather than in one hit. Jarrod Waite to be culled too?

I think he was copping it for this very reason because keeping all these old guys on the list meant that there was going to have to be a big number of departures at some stage leaving an inexperienced group to replace them. A more staggered approach might have been better but he was deluding himself that the guys he had could win a flag.

Waite will go around for 1 more year, I don't mind that cause when fit he has not showed any signs of slowing down.

Spud should have probably been shown the door last year.
