I still struggle with the concept that the player gets to nominate where he goes if he's not a free agent. That should be the price you have to pay for free agency - pay your dues going wherever the club last trade you to for the first few years

O'Meara rumoured to have been offered $4m over 5 years, Mitchell would be maybe 450-500k a year and Vickery 350k tops
