A source close to the Rovers says the boys at training last night seemed to be pretty fired up to beat the Tigers for a third time in the season.

Will the eight players coming from Adelaide each week come to hurt Renmark late come finals time?

Also - people on this forum seem to have given Mark Tyrrell's coaching job away already. However, it's worth noting the work that's been done with a very young list this year. The Roos have performed well. Could it be that that development's enough to keep people at Barmera happy? All the players seem to like Tyrrell as well.

Hey DW coaches are usually judged on the entire tenure at a club not what they are forced to do. A few supporters at BMFC have longer memories than the present season, credit where credit is due promotion of talented home grown younger players this year excellent, last year promotion of high paid personal friends from the one club not so excellent.

Interesting points you make. Just being the devil's advocate here, but he wouldn't have done that without the support of the club would he? He was also brought in to coach the club with the hope he could bring a few recruits from his NT contacts.

Saw a very good movie once the main quote was "Build it and they will come" My quote "Set up the Environment at a Football Club and Players will Come" Why recruit a coach for the reason of what players he can bring, if the environment is not set up will they stay, maybe that answers the mass exodus after season 2006 from BMFC Only my view

But how many remained in the Riverland from that mass exodus:

Rhett Davis (LN), R. Vagg (Cob).

Ummm, can't think of anyone else.

You could say that - and I'm sure some of them were. But for others, their time was up and it was time to move on.

And I don't think picking the wrong paid recruits is the sole province of this BMFC coach, or indeed the BMFC.

Got your guns out for Mark eh?

Braydn Fisher makes his debut for Westies tomorrow (HFF), this comes on the back of young Aaron Fielke also making his debut last week.

Yeah, would be huge if we can knock em off.
Surprised we've beaten them twice actually....
I think we've contained Jamahl well in both matches and that goes a long way towards winning the match.

In saying that, I don't think it's going to be a walk over for Renmark tomorrow, coach is pretty fired up for this one.
