So do I JQ, otherwise we could go through the dreaded AFL 'playing for draft picks' scenario

£300 per game in year 2 + $2,000 bonus in June following year, etc, etc) then you don't waste $600 on a cash grabbing club slut who wants to take your clubs money and run.

becoming more of a local DA

They'd have to start with an exemption on existing players. There's no way they could bring in that rule and force clubs to get rid of players.

Shouldn't you be at training GTS?!!!!!

I assume that means every player has 1 point, then you add on the import points, therefore an AFL =7, SANFL = 5, Div 1 Amateur = 4, HFL = 3, Affiliated League = 2, Local = 1

Therefore you are underestimating the points. Am I reading that wrong?

Interesting that the HFL make it more difficult to move between clubs within the Hills than to move between leagues

If this sort of scenario is going to happen I can guarantee that Barkers point system for this weekend will only be 20 points. Only 2 guys have joined us from another league this season and all the rest have either played juniors or been with the club for more than 3 years.
Seems to be a big difference in approach for recruiting at the clubs, ie bankers with 34pts this week or last? not sure who posted, but you would want them to hang around for a couple of years.
Any one else have an idea as to their clubs total for this week or last as an estimate?

Sorry only counted the 18 on the field would still be 23pts with interchange

Hey Bridgey blokes, who were the players that got red carded last week? I heard that one bloke got a 2 week suspension and the other 1 week? It will be tough fielding a B grade this week? The kid I was standing in the B's said he got dropped from the 17's to the B Grade  Surely that is not something you would want to continually happen?

I can guarantee that it won't be 20 pts (unless you're playing a man short). Each player is worth a MINIMUM 1 point so therefore you are always starting off with at least 21 points.

No club has to get rid of players. All clubs should be trying to recruit an A grade squad worth about 40-45 points to cover injuries, work etc.
You guys have to remember that you can have as many points on the books as you want you just can't play more than 35 points in A grade on game day.

Amry Tank - J Summerill 2 weeks & Niuewenhuizen - 1 Week
last night there was 2 full sides named & most of the B grade trained at least once this week

with regards to the 17's playing B's, we have 30 snr colts with only 22 spots in the team, the club has arranged for the players that miss out to play at macclesfield, but some don't want to travel that far & want to play for the double blue & white, so if the B grade is short we feel why not give them a go, surely can only improve their footy

Definitely Raider Rep. Get the kids amongst the older guys before they 'have' to and it won't be so daunting next year!
I heard that last week you guys were scratching for a few blokes for B's, so having those extra colts is handy.
Any interesting ins and outs from anyone?

Well, even if it is challenged there's no way he should be allowed to play this year while it's 'before the courts' so to speak.

Yoda, that would be ridiculous! how can you have a good behaviour clause! What are you going to judge, how he treats his missus for the remainder of the year, or whether he doesn't knock anyone out at training! ridiculous idea!
