Phil's on the money. The banner for Woodville's last ever game blocked out the Bradman Stand from the scoreboard hill.

I've got a photo of that banner somewhere...

But if Super isnt in it, what chance do any of them have.

The whole AFL organisation is wrong on so many levels, that I look forward to the day that it dies.
Would be good to see a break away league form and destroy the great pile of shite that it has become.

AFL Hall of Fame
I read with great interest Graham Cornes' article in Saturday's Advertiser regarding the non-induction of former Glenelg Champion, Peter Carey, in to the Australian Football League Hall of Fame. I concur wholeheartedly with every word that Graham said about Peter Carey. The "big fellow" was a true {and most enduring} Champion and, in my opinion, cost us winning a third consecutive premiership in 1973.
Surely Peter will be inducted {not this year}, but very soon I trust in recognition of his marvellous career.
Two other former Club Champions who also deserve to be inducted from our State are Andrew Jarman and Garry Mc Intosh. Surely their opportunity won't be too long in coming.
I must confess to not knowing if Graham himself has been inducted in to the A.F.L. Hall of Fame, or not, but if he hasn't, then surely he should also be recognised for his long and meritorious contribution to Football in South Australia.

Seriously, Barrie Robran is pure class. A perfect gentleman. They broke the mould when they made him didn't they?

To be honest I'd be happy if the interstate hall of famers were contained to simply Robran, Ebert, Carey and Bunton.

Each one of those is a genuine ornament to the game. And also incredibly humble about what they achieved.

Their inclusion would make so many of the other inductees look like "hall of shamers" in comparison.

Some of the recent inductees from Vicoland are an absolute ******* joke. They have devalued the concept of HOF.

AFL will eat itself. Long live the SANFL!
