Nobody wants to be seen as an equal to the Triple M footy crew.

Luke Darcy said last night the MMM footy call isn't for everyone, it's targeted at a specific audience. Yep, they wear flannel, listen to Chisel, smoke durries and reckon their mate Stevo's sheila is a bit oright.

I like tripleMs call of the footy, but switch off for everything else. I certainly don't qualify for any of the stereotypes listed above. I get their humour and enjoy it.

Collingwood board are apparently having a crisis meeting as Holdens are threatening to pull out.

Surely, if they're going to pull out, they'd just do it.
This is window-dressing from Holden.
But...if they do go, Eddie must to.
It's probably beyond time, anyway.

Aren't Holden going bust anyway?
I'm sure Ed can drum up a new sponsor or two, he ain't going nowhere and nor should he

Interesting situation unfolding. Either way, Holden get some publicity & mileage out of the issue. What has always intrigued me is they sponsor a club who's training facility is the Lexus Centre. How is that not in conflict with Holden's sponsorship agenda? Eddie (famously) drives a Lexus.... he is not putting around the suburbs of Melbourne in a Barina!

It's a bit of a storm in a teacup, having said that, it's also a reflection of modern society....
1961, 1971, 1976, 1978, 1983, 1986, 1988, 1989, 1991, 2008, 2013, 2014, 2015.... And don't you forget it!

I'm not totally sold on the merits of the complainants against Ed, who seems to be copping more flak than the others involved.
But, as president of the club, I do think he needs to be more dignified and a little more sensible about what he says on air.
Just as players represent the club in the media, so does he. He should have known those comments were going to cause a stir - discretion should have been applied.
It's not the first time where his desire to be one of the boys has hurt the club.
Whether I agree with his comments or not, he has to be aware of the environment that we all work in and what topics/comments are going to cause issues for himself and the club.
This is where his multiple roles get confusing and have done for some time.
