The big scorers of the first round might have taken a points hit but they managed to back up their round one wins with another in the second round. The Wombats beat the Shiners in a top four clash and they topped the scoring for the round while doing it. The Willies took over top spot when they sent Extend the Dukes crashing to the Canvas.
So two sides you might not expect to do well are leading the league. In the bottom five there are three teams that might have been expected to do better. Last year Magpie Mafia dropped a promotion final but after two rounds they are stone motherless and not scoring well. Wadey's Warriors were huge last year hardly putting a foot wrong but already alarm bells are sounding and they are zip and two. This year they are more like Wadey's Worriers. The Northern Cats aren't purring either. A measly 3993 is all they have to show from two matches with furballs flying everywhere up North.
Last week the three bottom sides all won so this has put the heat on the teams now sitting in the relegation zone. Once you are in there, it can be hard to get out. Shit just got real.

hey, i was in divvy 2 last season, so saying i wouldnt be expected to be at the pointy end is a bit harsh
although, there was a good reason i was relegated, i was crap last year....anyway, we will see if i can keep it up. i wont hold my breath....
