Yeah its a bit of a shame to see the Peckers go down hey wedge. You wouldn't be talking about a Shigs when you say an Evans partner would you?

Your dreaming if you think the boys from Alberton are going to knock of the crows this weekend. The only way it will happen is if Choco gets sacked this week and they have to play an emotion charged team for the third week in a row.

G'day Boys

It's fair to say there's a small minority of Peckers who make it hard to sympathise for the club when the wheels fall off come finals time. These same players also make Balak the most hated club in the League in my opinion. It's just a shame when great (and fair) players like Rolly, Shadow and Catty have to suffer.

I'll also add that it's good to see the Roosters in with another chance to play finals footy. Well done young (and a couple of old) fellas!

Be good to see the Roosters get a chance in the finals. Balak had a shocking start to the year. It seems unjust that theyre even a chance to play off for fourth spot.
Yes Wedgie Mallala did the job, though in a fairly lack lustre game. Whitwell and Hollitt dominated and Brian Montgomery played pretty well for his six sausages. Rams conducted themselves well though i thought. Would seem Chris Campbell is doing good things, top bloke too im told.
Big game this week tho Vs United. Both sides will be desperate to claim the honours on the local derby. Theyre always epic battles.

Hey Swampy you seem like a bit of a living legend down at Magpie park. Was wondering if you knew where one of Mallala's favourite sons one Gregory Chapman was getting a kick these days?

Yeah not sure, knowing chappy he ll be after a pretty handy wage from somewhere. So unless he's willing to take a pay cut from his rumoured match payment at the cougars, its unlikely. However there was talk that he was keen to play a few years with young Jack back with the pies but time will tell. Id like to think he'd like to repay the club he came through juniors with and return for a few seasons. Lets be honest if the big bucks are offered somewhere else and he aint got a job, he's only human.

Shigs it is Pilbara. I got a call from Batts at Balak during the year trying to get me to play after he heard a rumor i was keen to don the wonderful colours of green and mustard :? . Wasnt his fault he was just acting on what he had heard. I chased the rumor back to shigs as one of her lovely little jokes she likes to play. My aim is to find something that can somehow repay the favor however the lack of reaction to my posts has proven that this one hasnt worked so back to the drawing board! :)
Is that more Eagles support on the forum there Drop Bear? It must be said there is a definate lack of voice from Balak, Hamley and even the Fax has dropped off. This is one reason we should vote for Johnnie at the next election. His internet proposals for country Australia may allow for these guys to actually log on. Once they have saved up enough of their fortnightly payments to buy a computer of course. Sorry boys that ws harsh but hey, what are forums for.
I reckon the maggies might nudgeout the Tiges this week. Its getting too close to finals so i reckon its time the black and yellow took some time off   Plus we want that second spot

I'm more of an Eagles sympathiser wedgie. Got a few good mates playing for them.
Must say it's quite nice not having to decipher Fax's posts. Bit of an Dictionary Hater I think!

Would be nice to see the Maggies get toppled this week actually. Might even be good for them to get a loss out of the way before finals to keep them hungry. It's too easy to forget that losing feeling sometimes!

Burton is probably one of the most annoying players in the AFL. What a gangly retarded looking footballer.

Drop Bear, I agree.

How the Crows can keep him on their list I don't know. Undiscplined and inconsistent.
As for Perrie.....

Hang on, why are we discussing this in the APFL thread???
You're my only friend, and you don't even like me.

True. We should probably start sledging blokes in the APFL.
Nah, that wouldn't be as fun!

Ok, It's good to know that Gavin Wanganeen will play for Longies tomorrow, is there any truth to the rumour that Darren Mead is looking for a kick, and Longies are on the Verge of Signing Warwick Capper!!

I don't know you blokes? is it a good thing? i realise Gav and Che are exceptional players and are a wealth of knowledge but perhaps just looking beyond the face of it, is it a good thing? are there fringe players at longies who wont get a run in the A-Grade Final series, granted Longies B-Grade will play and these players will no doubt get a run in the magoo's but it's not the same. or is the Rooster just talking nonsense?

Some Tough questions troops!! All will be revealed at twenty to three tomorrow.

gees, couple good tips there, but couple of shockers!!
hummocks by 19goals (kev kicked 2)
two wells by 6goals
maggies smashed by 12...goals
port knocked off by 8pts
crows wish burton to play like that again!!

wins by hummocks and tigers keep things very intersting!!
now only 2 wins between them and mallala and less than 1% between the three!!
(keeping in mind mallala still have a bye to come)

Funny thing about Burton (just to get back to AFL) is that when he goes alright everyone loves him, but you watch him do something stupid and think he's the dumbest bloke on earth, the thing about burton is you can't trust him to win the game, you can't trust him to always take the right option, you certainly can't trust him to handpass but you can trust him to be himself and that unpredictable and that's the X-factor that means he's sitting on three port blokes head one minute and running clear down the wing kicking to no-one the next.
