Echunga v Onkas - wow this could be a good one, at Balhannah... would like to see Onkas get a win, but not certain they can do it - Echunga by 3 goal
Hahndorf v Lobey - would have to be game of the round.. Im going with Hahndorf by 3 goal
Torrens Valley v Mt Lofty - Cant go past TValley in this one, by 6 goal
Ironbank v Mt Barker - Gee Ironbank have bottomed out, 3 goals last week.... Mt Barker by plenty - say 8 goal
Uraidla v Blackwood - Maybe this should be game of the round... ?! If blackwood get over Uraidla they are the real deal, But Uraidla know how to lock teams down. I think Blackwood might be better than I think so picking them by 3 goals.
Not confident of 5/5 ... theres some 50/50 games this week..
Agreed some tricky games this week.
Echunga v Onkas- the Dee's have let two games go after leading at 3 quarter time and lost the other one by 2 points which shows there almost there but maybe their fitness isn't particularly good. Onkas were poor last week and would be hoping to respond. I think the Dee's have to much class around the ground, with Lindsay, Aish, Jennings and Guy in good form it will be hard for doggies to contain them. For the dogs to much is on O'brien at the moment and others must help him for them to be a chance. Echunga by 5 goals but if Onkas keep it close till the last quarter they would fancy their chances in running over the Dee's.
Hahndorf V Lobe- The dorf had a close win last week against a very good Barker side, while lobe pumped Onkas with Alex wills kicking a lazy 10. If Matt Roberts returns this week he will dominate in the ruck and give first use to Matsen, Paul, Jaensch and Leake which will cause all sorts of trouble for the lobe midfield but luckily they have plenty of quality in there. They will need to be at there best to be a chance though. Wills will have a tougher challenge this week with purling down back and then there is the issue of stopping Hourigan which is fairly impossible. Hahndorf will be much to good and win by 8 goals.
TV V Lofty- TV had a nice come from behind win last week and the Devs unfortunately appear to be in for a long year after starting 0-3. Lofty lack depth at the minute and unless Burch, Nielsen, Clement and van Paridon dominate they are in big trouble again this week. TV have plenty of quality and young guys like Walkley, Hill and Waterman are stepping up which adds to their quality. Pratt has been a big inclusion and expect him to dominate again this week which will allow big Boras to snag himself a bag. TV comfortably at home by 7 goals.
Ironbank V Barker- Barker had a very competitive loss to the flag favourites last week while the Bankers were embarrassed by the Woods in an insipid display of football. Giles coming of a best on will enjoy playing against a team that lacks a genuine ruckman which help give silver service to Hughes, Block and Pope. One bit of good news for the bankers is the return of the skipper Muriden this week but this is offset by a few key losses for the year which will test the depth once again. The pressure was non existent for the bankers and the one thing they must bring is some intensity around the ball and some defensive running by the midfielders. However even they bring that Barker will have to much class around the ground to win by 7 goals.
Uraidla V Blackwood- Game of the round in my opinion and having seen Blackwood last week albeit it against week opposition they do appear to much improved. Uris had a nice easy win over lofty also. The woods midfield is deep with Edwards, Anderson, Djiskman, Bricknel and Minuzzo running though their at times and Atkinson is a quality ruckman who can take it up to Down. If he can get on top of down then Uris will have big trouble containing the Woods. Uraidla will want to keep this game in tight at they don't have the ability to run with the Woods but they are the best team at keeping it low scoring due to their fantastic pressure and defensive structure led by the coach Ivens. I think Blackwood will be a bit to good for the Dee's and will win by 2 goals.
