Im not arguing that at all but the charge was Continued abuse towards umpire
Threatening an umpire is a totally different charge
Maybe someone could shed some light on it?

maybe he followed him to his car etc after game..or rang him up and abused him..who knows..must have been serious tho

Why do we play our best footy at the wrong times!

Pretty much 0% chance of finals for us and we turn on a performance like yesterday!!!

Nearly all of the Div 5 Reserves umpires are absolutely hopeless and some of them even cheat so much that teams have lost because of their decisions.

Lol,hear hear duncs.Problem in the A's some weeks aswell.You can't tell me some of those umpires are not biarst.But with out them you do not have a game..........

where has michael been, unfortunatly to many Div5R umpires favour there team, we have one in 2 weeks time, we play glenunga, he is the biggest cheat of all time.

I second that. He is a greasy cheat! Never wanted to punch an umpire so bad!

unfortunitly the lack of umpires is a real problem. Plenty will cheat in the reserve grades and well at this stage theres not much that the saafl will do about it. Clubs supplying there own umps is really going hurt the ameture league, and already is.

I dunno if that's fair.

We have club umpires in local B grade matches in the Riverland and most of them are pretty good. And in fact from my experience, there's less complaints about them then the normal umps.
