Obviously a merger has not been arranged - and never would have been in 2 weeks - so we wait for SACA to issue a statement on Monday?
Or is there a board meeting?
I still can't actually see them punting a club.
Guessing there will be a press release on Monday explaining the next move by SACA/or Each Club.
Both Clubs have responded yesterday by the deadline to say they will continue to work towards a merger, preferably for 2017/18 as time against doing it next year now. That is all SACA requested, that's all they got.
Different story behind the scenes, lots going on!!
Exactly.
Fulfil the demands of the SACA to shut them up, and tell them only the basics.
Behind the scenes, it's a need to know basis, and the SACA don't need to know what's happening. They'll find out sooner or later.
They'll get told what the clubs are doing, when the two clubs are good and ready, and not before hand.
13 sides will be competing next season, and that won't be changing after next season is finished.
