NO, for reasons which I have expounded upon at length on forums blacker-and-golder than this.

Wake up people: by clamouring for inclusion of SA stars into the AFL so-called "Australian" hall of fame you are merely pandering to the Vics and giving their poxy artificial history some credibility. Screw them and screw their hall of fame.

ha ha, that'll teach me to copy and paste without reading it throroughly

I should add to his cv that he managed to mentor coaches at South Adelaide in the only year they made the finals in a long long time, its probably the most impressive thing!

Phil's on the money. The banner for Woodville's last ever game blocked out the Bradman Stand from the scoreboard hill.

Mmmmm. And what an enormous amount of credibilty Tim Lane has when it comes to non-victorian sides and players. I don't know what his problem is, but he has one hell of a chip on his shoulder about them.
Were you in Victoria by any chance when Barrie Robran made legend status in 2001? The dummy spit by John Elliot was hysterical, but what was even more hysterical was Tim Lane trying to justify it a week later on the radio in an interview he did of Graham Cornes. Who calmly and politely put Lane back in his place.

Tim Lane - most pro-Victorian commentator ever. It has been exacerbated by the decline of Carlton.

LL

The problem is that Victorians cannot see their noses for their face.

It was "Barrie who?", neglecting the fact that footy actually exists west of Kaniva except when they needed to buy players with money most clubs didn't actually have. Keen students of the game such as myself were able to tell these nuffies that he was a North Adelaide legend ... it was like talking to a brick wall ... who? where? what?

These types of situations are times when I am ashamed to have been a Victorian - they used to complain about South Australians being parochial at Footy Park in the SOO (especially back in the 80s), but the truth is that they are usually worse as they are in defensive mode most of the time.

Not suggesting he's in the same categories as others mentioned here, but Neil Balme is probably one also worthy of consideration given the Premierships he played in with Richmond (not sure if any from the WAFL) and coached over here, one in particular achieving a feat never experienced in top flight across the land.

As someone else mentioned, the Gropers would surely have as many or perhaps more candidates worthy of inclusion.

You blokes can rattle off all the names you like.
But if Super isnt in it, what chance do any of them have.

The whole AFL organisation is wrong on so many levels, that I look forward to the day that it dies.
Would be good to see a break away league form and destroy the great pile of shite that it has become.
Yeah, Naah,..... Bollocks!

How did Fudd get in then? SANFL isn't footy anymore? Closer to it than the AFL I reckon.

Not questioning Fudd, just the entrance criteria.
