Ok, so i just used the ladbrokes odds to work out the odds

I underestimated against richmond, hawthorn and freo, and overestimated against GWS. The rest were within 8%

The bookies reckon the crows will have on average 4.3 wins after 10 games, compared to my estimate of 4.2 games

As we saw last season with Ports fraw they actually got through the first 5 rounds which were the toughest at 3-2. Where the season fell away was when they last to us at AO and then Brisbane and Cartlon away.

So really while you can have a tough start, even if you get through it you need to be mindful of how much energy you spend on doing it.

Something else to factor in is that what looks easy in March might not look easy in August. Also, plenty of mid table teams trip up in 'winnable' games like Geelong against Melbourne and Port against Brisbane.

Thing I liked about yesterday's win is there was minimal impact from Walker, Sloane and Jacobs. All three, IMO, were down on their normal input.

yeah agree with that. all did some nice things in the game but werent the ones that won it by any stretch. Thompson did have a great game though

Gotta say every worry I had about this game against Port turned around in our favour. I was convinced we were going to get burned on the 2nd possession out of the ruck but it couldn't have been more opposite.

Havent really noticed that much of a change in our gameplan in the first two weeks. I think the main thing that has changed is our skills have looked a lot better, particularly by foot, so as a result the ball is moving much quicker. Seedsman and Milera on the wings have that bit of spark we had been lacking too.

Only round 2 so not going to get ahead of ourselves however you have to be excited with the way we have played in the first two rounds and carried on from performances last year. Everything seemed to click into place this week after a solid round 1 performance where we weren’t far off. Need to have repeat performances like that now against some quality sides!

Players like Milera, McGovern look like great finds and players like Laird, M Crouch, Leaver, Hartigan, Atkins all look to have taken the next step in there development.

Another positive is that the pressure blokes like Grigg, Cameron, Menzel, Ellis-Yolmen, Lyons, Henderson, Knight are and will put on players to perform week in week out will only be a good thing!
