Any of the young lads between 18-25 who do the nightclub scene will tell you what their guess is.

Plus the drink driving episode, his run in at the Havlock and his Bali jaunt. Not to mention other incidents.

My point is, something else must have happened to retire now, surely. Otherwise you would have just pulled the pin at the end of last season.

26, turning 27 and coming back from an ACL. Not a walk up start IMO.

26-27 is when players hit their peak. Plenty of players return from ACLs with no issues. Walk up start might be putting it too high, but he's got 76 games under his belt and a regular last reason until his injury.

Still a flimsy excuse.
