Any of the young lads between 18-25 who do the nightclub scene will tell you what their guess is.

Plus the drink driving episode, his run in at the Havlock and his Bali jaunt. Not to mention other incidents.

My point is, something else must have happened to retire now, surely. Otherwise you would have just pulled the pin at the end of last season.

Some people reckon it could be a way of hiding a 3rd drug strike?

Given it happened whilst he was injured, and in the off season, it seems plausible

How old is he? 23? Plus he's a walk up start. Theres no reason why he'd voluntarily throw away a lucrative footy career if there wasn't a good reason. The "I've lost my passion for the game" excuse doesn't cut it.

26, turning 27 and coming back from an ACL. Not a walk up start IMO.

26-27 is when players hit their peak. Plenty of players return from ACLs with no issues. Walk up start might be putting it too high, but he's got 76 games under his belt and a regular last reason until his injury.

Still a flimsy excuse.

Probably says a fair bit about the Crows. Reckon he wouldn't get a game in any of the real good sides, just don't think he is that good

Perhaps the media need to attend the Goodwood Hotel and ask what happened there last week.
