Well one of the Umpires is yet to stand in an international match so would have no experience of the DRS system. The other has done 1 Test Match, 25 ODI and 8 20/20 Internationals.

That was a disgrace.

Some of the leg side wide calls have been bullshit. They have to give the bowler some leeway when the batsman is moving around towards the off side. If the batsman stayed in their original postion the delivery would hit them, shouldn't be called a wide FFS.

So frustrating that the Strikers have fluffed it twice now. Only once has the team that finished first made the bloody final.

The death penalty can never be excused as it allows a state a means by which it can pick and choose who is fit to live and who isnt

I actually didn't think he was to bad in the box, and if anything during the final he was trying to pump the stars up a bit to much in a bid to not seem so biased.

I reckon it was the other commentators who continuously refereed to Mark Waugh and his link to the Sydney Thunder.

I heard a rumor that Brendon McCullum is a big chance to play with the strikers next season, although it was Andrew Jarman who leaked it!
Would we keep Jayawardene or Rashid?

Thoughts?

Jarman said we would be getting Al Clarkson too :D

McCullum would be a great get if he kept and batted at the top.

I would keep rashid, assuming we cant get zampa back. Dean and Lehmann decent backup bats

McCullum is contracted to Brisbane I think.

Jayawardene was an injury replacement for Pollard so who knows what is going on there.

Rashid should stay as the Strikers coach is also his county coach.....provided he's not playing internationals next season.

Do you even follow the sport? How can you hate Mark Waugh the cricketer? One of the most stylish batsmen ever to don the Baggy Green and a brilliant slips fieldsman. Unbelievable.

For that matter, hating a sportsman for just playing sport is pretty silly too really.
