Former Hawthorn star Ken Judge has lost his battle with Cancer at age 58. Way too young. RIP Kenny Judge.

Wow that came as a shock.

I knew he'd been diagnosed with bone cancer 2-3 years ago but thought he'd overcome the battle.

I admired Ken Judge and enjoyed listening to him as a panellist/commentator on ABC TV and radio here in WA. He was an underrated player and an excellent coach. Always a passionate (but often biased) East Fremantle man, he coached the Sharks to WAFL premierships in 1992 and 1994 and also did a very good job coaching Hawthorn.

Very sad day for WA footy.

Certainly did. Kept us somewhat competitive despite a horrible list! RIP Ken.
