1. Drinking from my shoe
2. Drinking filthy filthy vodka & raspberry can drinks from an old bird bath, after convincing myself a squirt with the hose would clean it out.
3. Kicking 1.4 on Adelaide Oval in a div 1 Grand final on a day when there wasnt a breath of wind.
4. Getting out 1st ball on Adelaide Oval during an A grade match
5. Getting out 4th ball on Adelaide Oval during an A grade Grand Final

hmmm I think I should stick to drinking - less harm on the ego!

Years ago I picked Glenelg to beat the Dogs at Elizabeth by a modest margin on the old TAB Footypunt. Glenelg won by that margin (which should give you an idea how long ago this was  ). I rocked up to the Jetty Rd TAB, winning ticket in hand, and fed it into the machine....

... to find that I'd mistakenly selected Central, not Glenelg. #-o

Went home with a young lady I had been seeing for a while and stayed at her house after a really big night ( really pissed ) !!!

Got up in the early hours of the morning to take a piss and went back to bed - there was a litlle problem though as I walked in to the wrong room and jumped in to bed with her mother

Pi55ed as a newt after a sess at the Berkley (all class is REB) and decided to water the horses in Bank Street even though the pub had a toilet (although disgusting) that I could have used legally.

The coppers weren't too impressed with my 'allo allo allo wot's all this then' line either as I was zipping up. I reckon they might have heard that one once or twice before.

Getting pissed: 100 bucks
Getting fined: 174 bucks
Having a laugh and not getting searched while getting a ticket for pissing in the street: Priceless

Loxton's A grade failed to make the finals in 1999, so our squad went along to watch the B grade in their preliminary final.

We started the day with a 'champagne' breakfast and continued to consume plenty of drinks throughout the match.

By three qt I was fairly tanked and running back to our spot I collided with a Renmark player and nearly started a brawl.

We left Renmark about two hours later, headed to the Lyrup Club on the way back to Loxton. On the way there - I was sitting in the front seat next to the driver - I put my feet up on the dash and pushed a little too hard against the window. Result: a cracked window, which I had to pay for.

After leaving Lyrup, I was feeling a little ill, so opened the window of the bus and had a spew - I'd had some red bear, so there was red spew all down the side of the bus.

When we got back to Loxton, one of my team-mates chucked his hat on the ground, just as I was taking a piss out the window. He didn't wear his hat ever again.

Then to top it off, I got home at about nine that night, it was dark in my house and I stumbled and put a hole in the hallway wall.

All in all - the day cost me about $700 in damages.

And yes, I have another bus spew story to tell (Crushinator's fave story), so I'll put that up later.

Re: Stupid Things I've Done

Postby smac » Wed Jul 25, 2007 4:54 pm

I popped down to my local for a couple of beers with a mate a few years ago. My local is about 100 metres from the front door and I wandered down in shorts, t-shirt and thongs (the footwear, not the underwear) telling mrs smac that I would be a couple of hours - the time was 7.30 when I left home.

After my mate drove us to his tennis club (ok, that was his stupid thing), we drank some more and decided to head to the city. He suggested cab, I grabbed his keys and told him to hop in. I managed to get all the way into town with no incident and proceeded to scrape the front-right of his car on a wall in the car park.

Unfased, we did the rounds of our usual haunts - surprisingly getting into most of them considering how we were dressed and how pi55ed we were. Fell down the stairs of 3 different places.

My mate disappeared at some stage so I went to the taxi rank. No cab would take me in my 'condition' so I ran down the taxi rank along the bonnets, rooves and boots of about 7 cabs before I saw one getting out up the line in preparation for my run. I chose that moment to jump off - of course I chose the road side not the footpath side. A car slammed on it's brakes and stopped about 1 foot away from me.

I then ran, lucky most taxi drivers are too interested in the next fare to give chase to a goose like me.

I then decided (for reasons still unknown) to walk home down the middle of the road, in the hope of hitching a ride or grabbing a cab.

I got home at 7:30 in the morning, almost sobred.

The most stupid thing I did was what came next. Walked in the door and said "morning, what's for breakfast?".
