Also, Bancroft got out for 6 (LBW to Ahmed) after making 4 in the first innings. Hopefully Nick Marsh will make a low score tomorrow and not get picked for the Adelaide test.

Outright loss for sure now, Ross and Cooper had to bat first session at least.

Damning stat in paper today about batting averages, Zampa leads them and Ross only top 6 batter over 30???

Looks a good line up on paper, but that is very disappointing.

Not sure what changes can be made or whether they all get one more chance to turn it around in Hobart.

Wow I didn't even get a chance to check the score this morning.

So removing rain we lost inside 3 days. Another stellar performance

We rely far too heavily on too few.

Cosgrove was supposed to be the saviour to our brittle top order but has hardly fired a meaningful shot
Smith continues to get starts but hasn't really churned out a decent knock - I know he's young, but every other state seems to have a kid scoring big.

Head, Cooper, Ferguson all FAIL marks.

Alex Ross can hold his head high, he's a battler.

Ludeman - lets face it, his gloves are the only thing keeping him in the side, his batting has been snot this year.

Zampa has been doing well

Sayers and Mennie seem the only dangerous bowlers we have!

Agree with all of that.

Is just me that finds it weird and potentially an indictment on Cosgrove and Ferguson that between them they have played 254 first class games yet at no stage have captained despite the fact they have had a interstater, overseas, teenager get opportunities.

Pretty lucky Sayers and Mennie got us over the line against WA, could so easily have gone the other way and we would be 0-3!

What changes should be made for the next game in Tassie?

Think Richo will replace Benton, our four bowlers have all done pretty well.

Ludeman has not made a run in Shield or Matador cup this season! This happened to him two or three years ago, when he was dropped for struggling with the bat. I would give Alex Carey a shot, good keeper and better bat, has either opened or batted three for Redbacks before, so him at seven just strengthens the batting order.

Who do you change in the top six is the tough one? You would think Ferguson, Head and Cosgrove all safe. Ross been our best bat this year so has to stay. How long do you persevere with Kelvin is tricky, and Cooper has not been the same since Philip Hughes tragedy.

So to me, Smith and Cooper the two in the gun. Raphael and Lehmann the two potential replacements, but neither of them has been churning out the runs to demand a spot. Interesting selections coming up!

I've heard from a few reliable sources that Ferguson is not considered a capable captain at SACA.. hence why he was overlooked when Head was appointed.

Raphael & Lehmann scoring 70's in the 2's but not enough to force a change. Is Carey keeping at the Bay? Nielson apparently has broken a finger in Canberra last week v ACT. Carey took the gloves, so Ludeman is safe unless he too gets injured.

50 overs in Grade cricket this weekend so is that enough for Raphael and Lehmann to get enough runs and into contention?

Jake Brown still making runs.. maybe give him another crack?
Michael Cranmer?
Brad Davis has hit 2x 100's already this season?

Any of these lads a chance to strengthen the top order?

Carey is keeping at the Bay, would be a much better option than Harry anyway!

Depends if Siddons and the selectors panic or give them all one more chance, as appears no logical replacements at this stage.

Hasn't played 2nd XI I think yet. Do they view him as just filling in time until the Crows need his services full time?

My understanding was that he was concentrating on cricket and just training with the Crows in winter. There was an article awhile back that said he won't be doing any of the pre season work with the Crows
