So Australia lost 8/140 ish.

Probably goes to show the drop catches and poor reviews were worse than we thought.

Part or is done right. Now 3 or 4 fa at stumps with Kano back in the pavilion and we have one hand on the trophy 8)

reckon 1/115 at stumps ;)

from the live web coverage

OUT! L.B.W. Mitchell Starc to Martin Guptill. In-swinging half volley, middle stump on the front foot flick, hit pad. Absolutely stone dead. Tom Latham at the non-strikers end tells Guptill not to review it and rightly so. Late swing into the pads and the batsman misses the ball by a mile. Would have cannoned into middle and leg.

Just on that- I don't think we're going to get Williamson out, he doesn't even look like giving his wicket away so much so the plan is to not worry about him and get everyone around him out. If we manage to get him it's a bonus.

The worst thing about the Uzi hamstring is that those two words we never want mentioned around the test team are being bandied around despite the best efforts of SAFooty.net

Starc bowled well yesterday. Probably the best Inhave seen of him with the red ball.

But in saying that its a very good deck and Williamson could go big here.

I don't think they'll change the opening partnership and Smith will go back up to 3. Don't think selectors are going to pick Bancroft just yet, as for who comes in to number 4 I've got no idea but hopefully it's not f**king Shaun Marsh.

Shaun Marsh has proved he's not good enough to consistently perform at Test level, let's hope they give someone a go.

Would love to see a nasty 20 minute spell of short pitched bowling from Johnson and Starc in the morning.

It'll be an interesting selection in light of boofs comments that if they're tossing up between 2 players they'll go with the younger option. Hopefully it'll see Bancroft get the nod ahead of Nick Marsh.

Completely agree DK. 3 consecutive hundred opening partnerships at good rates. I will be incredibly shocked if they change that. I get the feeling that Smith regrets leaving 3 and will have a chance to make some very big scores v the Windies at 3. I expect him to return there.

Marsh may come in at 4.
Any player that is in the NSW squad could potentially be selected
They may give Bancroft a crack at 4

13 minutes that stoppage took. What idiot designed a sight screen with no manual override?
