WHUFC to thread.
Meaningless 2nd innings runs again ;)

But if Trav Head had made them, people would be chanting for a National Call Up. Starc showed that Head has a long way go.

Went on Wednesday night, Starc was bloody quick for his 3 over spell to finish the night session. Would not have wanted to go out and face that no matter how good I was as a cricketer.

UPDATE: VICTORIA’S Travis Dean produced an extraordinary display of batting on Saturday to become the first player in Sheffield Shield cricket’s 123-year history to score two centuries in his debut match.

The 23-year-old apprentice greenskeeper at Werribee Golf Club also eclipsed the record held by 1948 Invincibles’ opener Arthur Morris, who scored 259 runs in his Australian first-class debut match.

Awesome achievement.

How do Vics get 6 points from their game with NSW, and NSW don't, cant work that out?

Under the rules of competition, NSW provided an unsafe playing surface therefore Victoria awarded the win as the game was abandoned.

The Vics were fortunate to get 6 points, but were they also short changed ?
Should they have been allocated bonus points as well ?
Should they get the highest max bonus points accrued in either the SA V WA + TA V QL games played in round 2 ?

No wonder NSW were so angry. They apparently went out and had a training session on the pitch to prove a point, that it was perfectly safe. Curator was not too impressed either with the decision, said it was best oval and pitch had been when they made the final call. Interesting decision that could prove vital at the end of the season!

When the ODI opening bat is photographed with a massive mud stain on the knee of his creams and a handful of turf replacing his own divot there is a problem....

Yep, NSW can sook all they want but when a simple slide to field a ball leaves a 1m long divot and two other fielders have their feet just come out from under them when fielding a ball, there are issues. If it was happening when Aus 2XI was in the field they'd be the first to kick up a stink
