I cant see Bomber kicking 10 goals and Cove still loosing by 15.

Maybe he kicked 5 and they lost by 8?

I know what i just stated Pink Lady. Back in 2005 he kicked 9 goals from memory but Cove still got pasted.

Any other posts you have taken offence to? i would be happy to back them up with some FACTS. Something your previous post was clearly lacking.

Are the boys from emu land getting worried about Reynella recruiting a player this deep into a seaon??

Was the score that the emus kicked on the weekend a record??

Good to see a couple of close ones this week, despite the 2 massive blow outs. was at the porties v cove game on saturday, and it was a cracker of a game. It was a tale of 2 halves. Porties winning the first half, and cove slowly clawed there way back through the 3rd. Cove up by 8pts at the final change. The last quarter was really good to watch, the sides going goal for goal until cove broke the shackles to get over the line. Ramsey kicked a goal on the siren to make it 17 points. Porties matched up very well with cove. Manhood brought his own footy with him and tedmanson kept wiedemann very quiet

Well done - altho if this was your first game at FF and it was against brighton i would be a touch suspicious that the coach was actually trying to hide you from the footy.

But well done - just a shame we can't vote for you for most influential player.

Porties ladder postion is not a true indication of where they are at. Very good could take a few sides with them come September. Manhood was awesome all day even Brown i think it was freakish talent through traffic gripping the ball with one hand and the big guy at Centre Half forward was good 28 i think. Altough him and Manhood whinged every time someone put a finger on them saying the where pushed or held to the umpires got frustrating by the end of the match listening to it all day.

Saw the Lonsdale/Flaggies game, which was fairly close most of the day. Very ebb and flow, Lions kicked the first 5, got pegged back to about 8 goals each one stage through the second quarter, then Lonsdale stayed a handy margin in front for most of the day. Flaggies are screaming out for a couple of good sized defenders, As K McIntyre tore em apart as there was no-one to match his strength.

B Grade was interesting, counted at least 3 Lions blokes being sent off at different stages through the game. Also have NEVER heard so many players on the field from one team (Lonsdale) appeal for that many holding the ball decisions in my life. Was worse than being at a crows game! A good win in the finish to flaggies who did the right thing for club legend Wade Stone in his 300th game.

Porties are an interesting one. They seem to lift for the games against the top sides yet drop their guard against some of the lesser clubs. Their top 5 would almost be equal to that of any side in the league i would've thought? Could def cause an upset in September.

definitely true seems they match up well against certain sides i.e MVale and Cove but let themselves down against the improving sides like Lonsdale and the like could just be a mental thing also seem to have a few boys that are happy to go the knuckle given the chance!
