Forget the scoreboard for a moment, especially considering Reynella didnt play a number of key players.

I was pretty impressed with the way Morphy Park went about their footy Saturday. A very young side whose skill level is pretty raw but has potential, but they ran all day and when they got control of the footy were willing to move it quickly. They took advantage of the new kick in rule, the best Ive seen all year and they really did play the fast style game.

They could have tried to bottle things up and keep the scoreboard gap, closer but it appeared they were more about trying to win the ball, and move the ball quickly into their forwards.

Unfortunately it was their decision making and skill execution that was their downfall. A couple of key position players and a few years experience (and manage to hold the group together) and they could be alright. The key for the club is to retain the bulk of their player group who were disciplined & tried extremely hard.

I know its easy to be negative by looking at the scoreboard most weeks, but by looking deeper at their game there are many positives.

what did Christies expect from John Jared? He is known to be a candidate for send offs and suspensions and if you cant get a kick for Encounter Bay B grade, how could you step in to a SFL side as a paid player and make a contribution? As for the lotto win, $80000 would be reasonably handy!

To put a positive light on an other wise ugly situation.I beleive Hackham need a pat on the back for fielding 2 sides on the weekend. The whole club would have known they were up for an absolute shalaking in both grades but they grinned and beared it.I know theres a lot of jokes flying around about them but the character they showed to "Just have a kick and a catch" against an awsome unit and avoid a lot of dissapointment is a credit to them.

As the famous quote about sportsmanship goes "Though I aim to defeat you,if I do I will not humiliate you as for without you I would be a lesser man........"

I've heard that the winner of the lotto is the owner of Grand Nissan and with them being a sponsor of the poo hawks they are going to pump in some handy cash next year but the amount I am not sure of.

wouldnt think it could effect this season. once june 30 goes noone can be cleared to play at that club for the current season.
correct me if im wrong.
Beat the whites of eggs with a pinch of salt until stiff...Continue beating, gradually adding sugar, vinegar and vanilla, until of thick consistency.

I will have to say your rumor is correct and that Troy Butcher will be pulling on the black and white for the wineflies this weekend against Cove, The other player was talked into staying at the Eagles.
Because Troy is from interstate and has no local club Port Adelaide has signed a permit/clearance so he can play for reynella, the only reason he left port is because of work commitments and can no longer put in the time to train for the SANFL.

Is 30th June the cute off date for signing players from SA? My understanding is that players can still be brought in from interstate after this date, or even from overseas i.e. Mexico, Holland

That guy was the best player in the league. Could flat out play.

How many did Tedmanson kick last year?

You are kidding me......take that comment back - an absolutely shocking decision to put that one out there.....Kicked nothing against the good full backs.....

Nah wont take it back dogs. I remember playing in a match when he kicked 9 or 10 and we still won by about 15 goals.

Just my opinion tho - im sure your more inclined to go with Duncan Draper as your FF of choice.
