I dont mind it but have never been a fan of the PSD since it came in. Im all for players getting to the club of their choice but clubs need to be compensated in some way

Yep, will only be a few clubs interested due to his price tag and only wanting to stay in Melbourne. Saints, Roos and Carlton the front runners at this stage but ive got a feeling the Hawks will swoop late hence why they have held off signing Lake

Carlton are the front runners. Probably get him in the PSD unless others meet the bombers demands.

Its all up to Jake, if he chooses Carlton we will lose him for nothing in the PSD. Indications are he is seriously looking at a few other offers, we need this to happen to get something half decent for him. If clubs are offering similar money I would think he would go to a club on the up or around the mark rather than leave on basket case to join another

I think the Hawks are a strong possibility.

What would you be looking for in terms of a trade?

I wasn't aware of that. I thought He and Dangerfield were the last 2. I heard Melbourne made a big offer to Lynch.

Yeah the reports were that Melbourne offered him a 4 year deal, and the crows were offering 2. But he ended up getting 3 with the crows. I think he deserves it given he was leading the league in goal assists at the time.
