Wasn't a mark. I was right down in the pocket where it happened. Strath player which I think was number 9 took the grab initially but Batson ripped it off him. Ball up was the correct call

I wasnt that close to it but another strath supporter on the fence right there in that pocket said the exact opposite to this "ive never seen a clearer mark" straight after game. Anyway its done now and like LF said there were plenty of bad decisions all day both ways and it may just have evened itself out in the end.

All in all, still an epic game and probably one of the best comebacks ive seen in country footy.

Well bugger I missed a massive weekend of footy! Who the hell gets married in September should be out lawed
I hear that both A grade games were brutal games with some dirty tactics in Saturday's game! I read a broken jaw on Sunday! Did the umpires not show up to the games!

As for Mt compass ressies the disunity comes from having 3 coaches. 2 being the previous ressie coaches 1 which is president. A lot of opinions and messages going around. The actual coach has a problem of telling players one thing as individuals and doing another. This could be because of the power struggle in the box. I'm told several players walked out because of this. The coaches brother got a birth even tho he was on one leg in a final. That's why they were never going to win. Not good when the club has no juniors and struggling for numbers!

As for my prediction for this weekend il have to get back to you. More research required

Burgess and Munn going into the Goolwa rooms post match, how good is that!? Nothing but respect for that.

I reckon Dogsbarkin and his very confident team will still get up by 10 goals this week.

Quite possibly could be a blowout due to maggies injury list, their ruckman got a severe knock to the head sunday and would be in doubt plus i was told that a guy played for them with a specially designed face mask as he went into the game with a broken jaw...crazy if true and it would appear the same guy copped another knock to the face and headed off in an ambulance after game, talk about courage and desire to win just incredible. Would be foolish to write them off however compass are a good side too and might be that bit fresher I reckon.

Agree - from the outside Burgess looked like a good fit for Strath. Great result this year considering the changes he had to make each week.

Hinge to coach Yank
Allen to coach Pongy
Mclarens ?? Probably Powell
Strath ?? Maybe Munn?
Willunga ?? Having a crack a Powell?
