Probably one of the best sports scientists in the history of the game. As far as being a coach, I think he lacked imagination and gameday tactics to really be a good coach, but as far as preparing a team and a gameplan I think he was excellent.
The "crowbots" were a bloody good side that should have played in a couple of grand finals, but didnt. If Craig had been better able to make gameday moves I think we should have

For the reasons you pointed out. He's offered no success wherever he's been, just rambles on a big pile of excruciating drivel that no one either follows or understands.
Footy is simple, you go out on the field and outscore the opposition, that's how you win, you shut the dangerous players down and focus on the strong points within your own group.

And it's certainly not surprising he is still in the industry.
I'd imagine he'd have plenty of good input, as he did prior to going into coaching.

It really isn't simple. Bulldogs and west coast prove that a lot of it is the team structure.
People have recently been talking about the game plan of Roos and Malthouse too, and how they are possibly outdated.

Talk on 360 is that Gerard reckons he will be the next coach of Essendon.
Robbo reckons he will only go to essendon if the crows decide he isnt their man, because surely being in the crows environment for half a year would mean he is more likely to stay if the crows offer him the job.
He also said Essendon is probably in a rebuild phase, which means you would have to be in it for the long haul, 5+ years, wheras the crows are significantly further along in their development
In any event Worsfold has significantly changed his comments in the space of a week - basically categorically denying he wanted to coach again early in the week, to basically throwing his hand up late in the week

In terms of cash, i dont think there is anything the Paul Little could offer that the Crows couldnt match, if they decide to

do you honestly think carlton have been able to shy away from the scrutiny because they are in victoria? They have arguably been the most talked about team in the AFL
