DEVILS ADVOCATE.
Kisnorbo plays as a DEFENDER for Leicester City in the CCC.
Played previously for Hearts in the SPL.
Got the credentials, he started 44 times for LC last season, so must be able to play,
but he seems a bit out of depth in Internationals...

Righto further updates....
Uzbekistan def Malaysia 5 nil in GROUP C
China drew Iran 2 all in the same group.
China & Iran top that group with 4 points....

Fair enough. Hasn't had nearly enough publicity at home IMO, because playing CCC is a long, long way ahead of our A League, yet we're stuck watching and hearing about those dickbrains archie and kosi.

How could Les not have told us about this bloke!

Spurs Man,
Can't get the quote thingamebobby to work, but I agree with your comments. The CCC would have to be close if not the best second tier competition in the world.
I follow Derby (EPL yeeeeehaaaa), so have known about Kisnorbo for a while, but the problem is unless the players are in the "BIG" leagues like EPL, Serie A, Bundesliga etc etc, no-one gives a rats about them in Australia.
To play for a former top flight team like Leicester you are obviously not a mug, so unsure what the deal is with him in the Australian Team in regard to poor form etc etc...

Last update in regard to SECOND ROUND MATCHES
GROUP D
Saudi Arabia def Indonesia 2 - 1
Bahrain def Korea Republic 2 - 1.
This group is very interesting...If the Koreans do NOT WIN, they will
be going home...a HUGE result for one of the favourites.
They will play Indonesia who have 2 point buffer with one win and one loss...
Bahrain play the Saudi's with the winner topping the group, or if it's a draw the
Saudi's will top the group, Korea will need to beat Indo well to get through on
goal difference...
GROUP A
All down to the wire in this group as well...
Goes like this...
Australia win they are through...
Iraq win or draw they are through...
Thailand win or draw they are through...
Oman need to win, and need Thailand to beat Australia (I think  )
So it is WIDE open...come on the Aussies...
GROUP B
If Japan and Vietnam draw, they are through. If Japan wins they are in. Vietnam wins they are in.
If Qatar defs the UAE, and Japan & Vietnam draw it will be on goal difference. If Qatar wins and
either japan or Vietnam lose, then the loser is out ! UAE are allready gone...
Another wide open group...ahh the tension :D
GROUP C
Malaysia are OUT.
If China def Uzbekistan they are in, If Uzbekistan def China they are in, if it's a draw China are in,
Uzbekistan going home due to losing to Iran...
If Iran draw or win they are in, they could lose though which would allow Uzbekistan through
IF they beat China and China would probably go through on superior goal difference...Pheww!!

Anyhow should be a few good game coming up !!

Hmmm - a bit late. Wonder if the missus will let me duck off to watch it at a mate's place. Seeing as I was in Kapunda on the juice last night as well, unlikely. lol

What a shocking time to have the game (for us selfish Aussies anyway!). Luckily I have a training day at work tomorrow so I don't have to be too switched on. Oz is on at 11 though so I might miss that.

Australia actually looking like they want to be there tonight.
