Ol Vick loves his rep footy, should have heard his ridiculous cheering every time Southern got a goal, and when the final siren blew after the grand final.
I dunno, just as an observer, good player, but is he a bit of a jerk, he celebrated like it was a premiership or something, pumping his arms in the air, screaming "yeeeeaaaaahhhh!"

Lol.

Fair dinkum don't shoot a guy down for showing a bit of passion.People are complaining that all associations never put their best squad on the park and your bagging the good players for showing passion and enthusiasm.............

At least Vick and his Cove mates play the game, not pull out like Bayly, McKenzie and co to play crunch games against Christies and Lonsdale

I don't have a problem with passion and enthusiasm.
Just ridiculous amounts of it.
If your ten goals up you don't blow your nut after a goal is scored.
It's just common sense.
I didn't say he wasn't good, just he looked like a dick carrying on like he did.
So GTF over it.

In fairness the guys who go away end up a pretty close group, and they are told all the way through that this is one of the one most important carnivals they will play in, right up there with a grand final.

Did McKenzie end up playing against Lonsdale? I thought I'd heard when Reavill replaced him that McKenzie wouldn't be playing SFL on Saturday.

If Vick & Ramsey are in the state team to play in 2 weeks time then it looks like Reynella wins the jackpot again, 3 Brighton players last week and now 2 from Cove.
Didnt see Ramsey's name in the goal kickers in the first 2 games, did he kick any in the final as he has been named as the state full forward ????????

State team was named unplaced, he was named at full forward for the team of the carnival, apparently they're slightly different.

Think he kicked about 4 for the carnival, but played CHF rather than full forward. Southern went with 2 out in the goal square.

Was it a sudden work commitment or were the Valley that worried about Lonsdale?

Does the same out at Cove. Brings abit of life to the game. If you think someone that travels as far as he does trains with another club closer to home and Coached the 16 2's on A sunday last year and 16's this year is a jerk thats your judgement. Nicest bloke you could meet and obvious one of the best Amauters in the State. buts hes a jerk because he loves his footy at least he showed some heart unlike most our association.

Any truth to the rumour that Smackem only fielded 16 players in the A grade against flaggies on Saturday. I’m guessing it wasn’t due to association commitments? Also they play M/Vale this week so I cant see how they could possibly talk anyone else into playing. Fair chance then that they will forfeit this weekend and possibly the remainder of the season.
