So true.
Always the right of reply though.
How good would it be for the Farms and Smiffies to sit down in the middle of the oval and share a coldie together, still suited up after a tough but fair tussle after the game.

I don't think it's beyond the realms of possibility mate, judging by some of the convo's I've seen on Facebook between players from both sides.

Life's too short to worry about yesterday.

Given the weekends results, and a winable couple of games coming up for Mawson Lakes, could we infact see one of the pre-season fancies (Brahma Lodge) drop into the relegation zone?

What would've been the odds would they have been before the season to be in that position!

Infact given Fitzroy have the bye this round, if results fall their way, Mawson Lakes could find themselves a game outside the 5 at the halfway mark!

lakers just played smarter and cleaner wet weather football on the day..their players stuck to their task and will no doubt upset a few more teams before the season is over..appreciated seeing lots of them back in our club (including the riddler) after the game and we will reciprocate in 10 weeks..

pretty good effort by FFC i thought being only 5 points down at half time in their game..and the TOS B grade finally getting beaten was an interesting result..

Is an interesting result with the TOS Bgrade. Looks like Brahma may have gone under the radar a bit in the 2's

i think they have..if you bring in 12-15 players into the A grade it has to filter into depth in the B and C grade..perhaps the smaller oval and wetter conditions held up the TOS running power or the A grade needed to use a few of those better players..i note their C grade lost as well..

I would expect the BL B Grade to get stronger in the coming weeks - a handy lad running around at full forward in their C grade Saturday, cant see him staying down too long..

Just beaten by a side with a greater thirst for the contest and willing to work harder both ways. No excuse. The lads were poor on Saturday. Brahma will be around the mark for sure, I think the top 3 sides are fairly even, with Lockleys more than capable also, good even comp..

What were we talking about before Marbles rudely interrupted us? ;)

Just kidding, but it was an important game for us to get the win after just missing out last weekend. The weather certainly changed the game & we seemed to adapt a bit quicker. The game was well spirited even with a bit of banter being thrown around. I think it certainly added to it!

A few interesting results, showing just how close this division is this year.

The 3 things I learnt this week
1 - Ingle Farm can play wet weather footy
2 - If enough people tell you are clutch, you might start to believe it
3 - The forum is a better place without Marbles

If West Croydon can keep most of their lineup from the weekend, you can throw them in the mix as well - looked a more potent and balanced side than the one that played finals last season.. expect them to begin making their move..

I'd say we will be on Waldeck which is the usual oval that we play on, hoping the lower oval was a once off for the season.. Fingers crossed anyway Z

Nah, I think it was an umpire thing to be honest - PLUS it was about 15 years ago
