I know that this is a stupid question but................. Isn't Newcastle in Queensland? How come then there is a Queensland state team when the rest are just city teams?

Sorry that's 2 stupid questions

Newcastle is North of Sydney around 2 hours in NSW.
Queensland would most probably keep their name, even if a team from Nth Qld, Gold Coast or Brisbane City came in.
honestly dont know why the Roar, are QLD and not Brisbane.
