Sydney should only be allowed to play 14 players. We may have a close game then.

But whilst Thomas, Tuohy, Warnock and Armfield are playing I'd still take Sydney.

hehehe, I tend to agree. Although I do say, if Mick is in charge, you could play 14 mini league players in their place. We are clueless.

I know we laugh about this but it's a shame a once great club has got to this stage. I actually like Carlton.

216 times and this is the second biggest loss says Bruce.

Hmm.

Ok, lets have a look at our list.

Laidler playing for Sydney - told by Mick to learn how to play HFF and delisted.
Waite playing for North - offered one year, played most of the previous year in the ressies.
Betts playing for Adel - says in the media during the week his role was diluted by the coach
Garlett playing for Melbourne - delisted
Robinson playing for Brisbane - delisted
Watson recruited as a CHB, being groomed as a CHF - looks like being delisted
Rowe recruited as a CHF/FF, playing CHB/FB
Yarran isn't a backman
Simpson isn't a backman
Cas can't kick

Won't play the kids, won't give them some game time...

We have no game plan!!!!! Zero. Nil. Nada. Move on.....

Again, we win contested stoppages, so it's not our MIDFIELD FFS!!!!! We have nothing to kick to.

Can't understand why, if you're in a rebuild, you don't play a kid like Boekherst?

Errm, putting himself (potential wins) before the club (potential development)?

Seriously, we've had Buckley in and out, Graham in and out, Boekhurst in for three games and out. Watson, out more than in. The messages coming out of Carlton is unfathomable.

So Armfield's inability to kick or make decisions is on Mick?

I have no doubt he is partially to blame for where the club is at but other people certainly have to take responsibility!!

Pretty much. Having options is the coaches responsibility. Having structures around him and in place so that he has runners around him is the coaches responsibility. If you're stationary, have runners around you. If you're moving, have people shepherding. Having skills/game plan/people in motion/people helping out/talking IS THE COACHES RESPONSIBILITY. You can duff kicks but if you cannot kick from week to week, don't get selected.

How obvious can it be????

I think its partially on Mick but i also think there has to be responsibility on the players. The list management has been atrocious, the key players don't stand up week in, week out and they need to accept where they are at and play the kids week in, week out! (Agreed thats on Mick)

I think it is time for Mick to move on but i think there needs to be other people standing up, taking responsibility and also probably walking from the club

That's the thing, players can't. They have the option at year's end, but not before. So the only option is to move players into the ressies, or move the coach on. That's the delimiters. Unfortunately for Mick, he's already used up one excuse by saying he's used up 36 players. So what's left? Hmm, let me think?

WTF Carlton. They normally play pretty well against us but that must have been a dispiriting night for Blues fans. The bad news for them is that Geelong are probably only about the 10th ranked side in the league this year and our injury list is pretty long at the moment. The Bluebaggers have yet to play Sydney, Hawthorn, Adelaide, Port, western Bulldogs and Freo. OUCH.
