I'm not going to predict a premiership yet but the Eagles are definitely finals ready - Petrenko certainly adds another dimension for them.
He's clearly too good for this level (but, obviously, not good enough to play consistently in the next).
Our height is still a worry and skills are definitely problematical.
Goody and Retz continuing to miss is a massive problem. We can't afford to have them out.
However, I feel a very large absence is Waldhuter - his ability to run, break lines and create space is to take advantage of our open forward line is really being missed.
Even more concerning is that Thommo and Kyle Jenner's retirements are looming, which means experience will dwindle even further.
The processes are being put in place, but there are still significant chinks in the armour that are going to prevent us from seeing success into the future.
