Tailem couldn't join another leauge unless there was a major change because they are across the river from Jervois - with 7 teams the RMFL couldnt afford to lose them. Although it wasn't too far back that there was 10 teams in RMFL

I doubt very much Tailem would be looking at leaving the RMFL.

This year and last year have been obviously very poor for the club but they're rebuilding and they're a proud club. From 89 up until 2005 they played in the finals every year. They'll be competitive again within the next 2 years, its just a cycle that happens with all clubs and all leagues.

Guarentee Tailem wont being going anywhere, they've spent almost nothing on players this year... Word is next year they'll be going all out on players and join the budgets of Ramblers-Imps etc..

I think Tailem Bend have bigger problems than one shit year of footy... They have like 10 under 15's, 10 under 17.5's and dont field U17's team in netball -

Also not one grade of football has won a game yet - A club like TB need locals coming through but there seems to be no Kids left in town???

Meanwhile juniors miss out on games regularly at Imps/Ramblers (10-15 mins away) because they have so many kids trying out

The club won their first game for the year last week, Under 17's versus Jervois. Thats not really proving much i know, but at least the club wont go through the season without a win in any grade.

Whilst theres not a lot of junior numbers there is some quality there - 2 quality players at Sturt juniors Dylan Hogarth and Damien Gregory, plus a young Hansen lad in Tailem's Under 17's who could be anything. If they were to play seniors in 2 years time, with some imports and the existing young guys they should be able to become competitive again. Graetz coming back would help, who knows Muffy could be back as well, although heard nothing on that. If they spend big next year as has been mentioned they should come into finals calculations again. Not spending much this year there should be money available, i guess the x factor is this new points system that comes in, how it affects Tailem, as well as the other 6 clubs.

woops! my mistak on the Tailem 17's GWW, I still have a sneaking suspission that TB will go quite well this week...

Maybe Northcott (former BDT crows star) will fire? Gregurke must be close to returning? and Dent uses his ample body well up forward...
