It's a promo for the Sports Association of which the football club is only one of at least twenty five associated sports. It's trying to say to students, that no matter what sport they play, University has a club fit it.

Portland had a few handy players from Lucindale playing for them so I wouldn't read too much into that result. SMOSH looked pretty good to me in both grades. Quite tall and looked well drilled. Still a few to come back in for them too.
