Dangerous precedent, what happens when your b-grade folds and other clubs want compensation from the decreased revenue at their home game?[/]

U refused the saafls offer to hav u in div 6 they've offered u a place in normality you've said no.

Dunno why Houghton, the raiders, don't just jump ship and take the div 6 spot, cos at the end of the year they'll be the only club willing to go div 6 anyway. And this leaves 6 teams div 7 no byes

Are you two actually serious with this line of argument? No joke its marbles levels of stupidity.

You're comparing a club, which got flogged by an average margin of 30 goals in the A's and couldn't field a side in the B's and therefore rightly got relegated.

To clubs who were very competitive in D7 last year, nominated for D7, but got put in D8 anyway.

I'm a bit confused by your proposition that there are clubs that nominated in D7 but got put in D8?

I would have thought if Modbury and SMOSH (as far as I can tell the only two who fit your criteria) wanted in on D7 they would have it?

That there is this much argument around Division 7 & 8 and a few C-Grade teams really shows up that the SAAFL has become way too big and needs to be split back into district leagues. Mitchell Park (along with Lockleys, CLG, etc) should be a club pushing for a new mid-southern league as they are getting lost in the system. Leave the SAAFL to the College cartel.

Now I am going to run and hide before @Old Dog New Tricks starts sending me abusive PMs again.

SPOS have to be a massive chance in this Div. Their best early recruits have already been mentioned, but I noticed a Todd Hincks has been cleared to them. Kid can play, was an A-Grade mid in the YPFL last year and will be real good in D7.

Any idea if they're still working with 15 points?

and i myself have had nothing to do with the decisions of each committee, despite being the "only" person on safooty.net complaining about it
No quite the opposite. Whilst I think sa footy is a great medium for communicating ideas and having a laugh, I am under no pretence as to its limitations and influence on amatuer football policy. This is akin to why I laugh out loud every time Jetters and others blame me and my postings on here for Mitchell Park being a cellar dweller. It's laughable.

I've played against C Grade sides as an A grade player for the vast majority of the time I've played footy. Not once, not even once, has a C Grade player even gently complained about having to play A Grade sides. In fact, quite the opposite, it is usually the A Graders whinging about the lack of consistency of C Grades.

More often than not your average C Grader wouldn't even know who we were or who they're playing next week! Such is the nature of C Grade. The amount of times an opposition c grade player has asked me - "So who are you A grade playing" or "is this side your reserves?" would be uncountable using all my fingers and toes. No one cares marbles. No one.

There may be other logistical and planning issues which restrict C Grades from playing with A grade sides in D7 - like what jo has raised above.

My post has nothing to do with C grade so I'm safe.

I don't blame you and your postings for Mitchell Park being no good. I merely express my amazement and awe at you being the worst football 'thinker' I have ever listened to, as well as your stupidity and ignorance to attribute fault on your club for it's obvious failings.

Also, your ridiculous use of unnecessary long words and awkward sentences makes you sound like an idiot....it's a footy forum!

One would think unless a lot of their blokes played their 25 games of School Footy for St Pauls they'd be struggling!

Enough for one team. I would imagine they would be very strong in the reserves. Dudley has moved on I'm hearing.
