2 fa in the first over. Pakis are in all sorts

3 fa at the end of the third

4 fa after 3.1

On a team hat trick.

Patheticstan might be more appropriate.

Perhaps a team meeting after game one loss " We can't win so let's win some money!!"

Reckon the Pakis got some good odds on the Windies winning, couple of dubious shots played

You never know when the Pakis are Fine Cotton or Bold Personality.

Have got a run on now and tripled their score.

Surely he's on the take?

Has made 6 Test hundreds
Has made 7 international ODI hundreds
That for starters does not make him a useless cricketer

Underachiever might be more appropriate than useless

Pakis 4/17

Misbah's a good player but he won't get them out of this massive hole.

Anyway, back to the match, I thought Steve Bucknor was back on deck after that wide decision.

No heart ?
Have you ever faced bowlers that bowl 130 km +

To post he dosent give rats in 80% of his performances
I would safely say that is crapp

Dear Keyboard Warrior
My posts directed to you are what I consider factual
You are the one thats posting some rubbish

The Samuel File
* a more useless cricketer
* surely he is on the take
* not having a heart
* giving a rats about 80% of his performances
* how the diamond studs look is more important

Can you prove any of your accusations ?

Not sure it's as easy as that.

Could this result, and a couple more upsets, condemn the Poms to minnow status by missing the quarters? Still a highly unlikely scenario despite their pathetic form.

Would have though that given the prediction of weather seemed pretty definite 2 days ago (at least from what I've been able to find) that something should have been done. Dud world cup already in my book with 1 game a week on free to air, teams playing only once a week and now the hosts and one of the major drawcards having a game abandoned without a ball bowled. Shifting the game to another state wouldn't have been impossible. People will have to have tickets refunded anyway, both teams would have had the same travel issue to deal with and agencies are well equipped to sell 50k tickets in a day or two.

Would love to see future world cups with more teams or have 2 games between teams in the pool stage. Or both. Just got to have teams playing their games closer together at this stage IMHO.

Was mentioned on ABC the other day that the next World Cup is being cut to 10 teams but goes for 47 days, talk about overkill

We can relocate a man to walk on the surface of the moon nearly 50 years ago but being proactive about the re-location of a cricket match to avoid abandonment during a World Cup is obviously beyond the realms of possibility :roll:

Wednesday its a predicted wash out due to cyclone. How about the old hey Adelaide can you get 50,000 in at $50 a head? "Why yes we can and would be more than happy to provide the premier sports stadium currently in sport to facilitate this arrangement."

Now I know it's not as simple as that but surely something could have been done

Will this result hurt us, as it more than likely would have been a win but now we get stuck with 1 point for an abandoned game.
