Some properties were that bad they couldn't even get a float down to the stable because of the trees overhanging the driveways. It's almost getting t the point the point the government need to make it mandatory for people in fire prone area's to produce their bushfire survival plan, and also have regular inspection of properties.

A bloke from another footy club had the balls to say he hoped our club burned down.

How could any half decent human wish that on another club even a fierce rival.
You'd hope it was an idiotic throw away verbal bravado but unfortunately society has these types of people...the aforementioned "Scum"

My future mother in law has some land out at Pages Flat and she has letters every year. One year she was a bit behind because shes there by herself, works full time and its a fair piece of land, and she had another warning.
I think they also provide a service for a fee to trim back the trees on the property.
The land owners should pay for it, but the council should provide the manpower.

That's very good of them. It seriously wouldn't take much for a council to have someone go around and check properties. Don't know if anyone has seen the YouTube clip from the CFS guy helmet cam, but that house is seriously lucky to still be standing the CFS did a amazing job to save it. Seriously who doesn't know to clean the gutters of leaves and who is stupid enough to have a tree over hanging the roof of your house.

So now, not only are we probably gonna have to move from a house we love and have only been in 6 months, AND we have people coming through every two days.
Hopefully an investor buys it and we can stay......or some nice person on here could lend me $380k....im not good for it
