Interesting what the English betting agencies like ladbrokes offer with their multis

I guess the best way to describe it is its like 'deal or no deal'

When you put any multi bet on

-while it's still alive you can go log in your multis reference number and they will offer you a payout figure right there and then. Obviously depending on how many legs to come, what odds they are, what legs have already got up etc etc changes the payout figure

Could be used well in the case where you have 4 legs of a 5 leg multi up and then you hear a certain player may be out injured etc etc, you could then jump on the payout figure and collect a smaller amount of winnings

Obviously the system must work in the bookies favour overall as they wouldn't offer the service otherwise but I found it an interesting element.

and then the multi won all legs and it was worth thousands or something.
