Adelaide | The major parties have switched to negative mode in the seat of Fisher, with the Liberals launching a wide-ranging attack on independent candidate Dan Woodyatt.

A flyer authorised by the Liberal Party (scroll down to view) paints Woodyatt as closely aligned to Labor and questions his connections with the late MP for Fisher, Bob Such.

It is similar to the campaign run by the party against Such himself in the lead-up to the March state election. The risks of the move were highlighted this morning with Such’s widow Lyn publicly endorsing Woodyatt again, and decrying the negativity about him.

Labor has also rolled out the negativity ahead of Saturday’s byelection, attempting to link Prime Minister Tony Abbott with the campaign after the party’s Victorian strategists claimed some success in using Abbott’s image in their successful election campaign.

Flyers and posters featuring a large photograph of Abbott highlight Defence Minister David Johnston’s comment that he wouldn’t trust the ASC to build a canoe. It then says: “Don’t trust the Liberals. Vote for local jobs, vote Labor”.

Woodyatt said he had complained to the Electoral Commissioner Kay Mousley about the Liberals’ campaign material.

Tom Kantaddup was on the radio this morning trying to justify his scare campaign
I always love when he tries to give an analogy. It is obvious that someone else has given it to him because, when challenged or questioned, he falls in a heap. He then has to resort to playing the man - he really is feral.
When Weatherill gets the tap on the should from the SDA and PSA, he really thinks he's going to get the top job. I hope he does but my money's still on Mullighan

well given Bob Such was a Liberal before turning independent, I would have thought the seat would be a safe Liberal win

Well, Ladies & Gentlemen, unlike our politicians, I am a man of my word.
Considering the (interim) result, I will no longer post on here exposing this incompetent government
The people of SA have confirmed what they want, and that is more if the same.

I have to say, the Liberals campaign in Fisher was even worse than in the general election.
As previously threatened, I intend to take direct action. If they ignore me, then that's it. If they don't, you'll know who I am

As per a drug addict / Alcoholic, I just wonder where the bottom is for South australia
