I thought the demons were pretty good yesterday. Could they cause a prelim upset?

skill level in the first half wasn't great, if Boston's didn't give tho 3 50's away would of been right in it at 3/4 time! what was dunn thinking just before half time? waybacks were the better side but will need to improve a lot to knock off tasman and mallee's with full lists

The result yesterday reiterated what the ladder showed all year... There is a gap between the top three and bottom three. Not massive but enough to make yesterday a reasonably comfortable day.
ifs buts and maybes are not recorded on stats sheets so they have no bearing over 2 hours of footy.
Both sides took a while to settle and very fumbly early. The experienced senior Demons all played their part while Jonty had a day out up forward.
Toby was outstanding all day and Hayman and Sampson were important in a variety of positions.
Tyler Franklin clearly Tigers best and tried all day to get his side going. Lakin was good early while Singh had a good second half.
Best chance is for Roosters and Peckers to smash the bejesus out of each other and struggle to field a prelim side.

Either side will not be looking forward to that prelim against the Demons. No one wants to go there.

The final 4 system can present a huge advantage to the 1st semi winner. Conversely can present problems to the 2nd semi loser having to back up three weeks in a row

I think that's how I should be.. 1st vs 2nd on the Saturday 3rd vs 4 on the sunday.. but then again if you are good enough you should be fine playing 3 weeks in a row

Koonibba made it 4 flags in 5 years with an impressive 8 goal win in front of a massive crowd at Thevenard. Koonibba won its 5th straight B Grade flag in a thrilling win, Koonibba also won the Under 17's and Blues won the Under 13's in a very close match, all done for another year!

Is that meant to be 200 points or 20 ? Is that a typo?

I arrived at Centenary on Saturday as the Under 17 game finished, I stood by the scoreboard for a few minutes, What was the deal with the the abuse the coaches and players copped as they walked off the ground from a group of u/17 players from a club that wasn't playing (playing this week). It was disgusting and that club should be ashamed. Did anyone else hear it and know what it was about? Did I miss something?

I sat in the grandstand and watched the U 17s and you should've heard the disgraceful language and the cockiness coming from these lads mouths.. They have already won the flag in their minds... I am sure the good people who have worked so hard to change the feeling / perception of the club would be appalled. Hopefully it gets back to the powers that be and these lads get pulled into line....

I hope they stamp out this behaviour as these lads are the future of that club but they were an total embarresment on Saturday. If it were my club I would be taking action by advising the president and making sure it never happened again or I would leave the club, who is the coach of that side and where was he?
Im glad I didn't take my family to the footy that day as I would have been embarrassed exposing them to that abuse/foul language. I have lost a lot of respect for that club involved but its also a bad look for the PLFL on the big stage (finals). I see they had security gaurds patrolling but they did nothing.
