NBL Grand Final: Kings v Tigers

Postby Magpiespower » Sat Feb 18, 2006 8:32 am

As much as it pains me to say - because I hate the Kings and the Tigers - the two most deserving teams are through to the Grand Final series.

This should be a cracker.

Reakon the Tigers might just edge out the Kings 3-2.

Who cares. If the 6ers aren't there there's no point caring about who's in the final. It's all Wedge's fault.

Aint it always

A young girl in my son's class at school is especially disapointed about the 36'ers bombing out of the finals, she's Willy Farley's step daughter.

Very satisfying hearing Boy Goorj squeal about the rough tactics employed by the Tigers.

U beauty, Goorjian can cry all he wants, they never looked like winning.
So all the Tigers had 2 do 2 get another championship was to retire Gaze, piss off Copeland, Bradkte and presto.

I think the main improvement came from getting rid of Lindsay Gaze, he was the Doug Thomas of the NBL.
I don't even rate Al Westover to tell you the truth, his time out speeches are nothing short of inept but anything was going to be an improvement on Lindsay's 1970s style.

Gotta give Westover some credit - he took a team nobody rated pre-season to a championship.

Anstey - MVP.
