So to answer my earlier question...Is James Lyon Jervois' ruckman???
How much would the team pay to get a decent ruckman next year???
The only time i've ever been wrong...was when I thought I was wrong!!!

A few of the boys are on fire at the moment so its not easy to get in the best.

Mahony kicking golas and ewer, hill and jarvis feeding him is hard to compare, especailly for the big men. everyone knows the onballers get the votes even if the ruckman gets it to them! in saying that, baxter is playing well too.

Hills, can you see any team challenging Jervois in the coming month?

I'm not sure if that question was asked in gest or not. Tailem is rebuilding and will be looking at being competitive against the leading sides such as Jervois, they're certainly not a realistic chance of upsetting the Bloods though.

I haven't had a good look at the draw lately but i think the next Imps/Jervois game will be great. Imps smashed the Roos on the weekend, and with their quality forwards they'll be a chance of beating the Bloods, especially if they play them when Trevor Rigney and Mahoney are out injured (i have no idea when they're due back).

Not asked in gest, just looked at the schedule and its a while before Imps play them, i think, and other than the Imps, i can't see anyone else getting close to the bluds.

No worries mate, i just thought you were having a sarcastic go at Tailem specifically. As i mentioned dont think Tailem are a chance at all, just dont have the cattle this year.

I'm not sure when Ramblers next play the Bluds, i reckon they're a chance as well. Realistically they're still the big 3 (with Imps) despite the promising start to the season by Mypo and the Roos.

Haven't seen any games, but have read match reports and results and from what i can tell Smelty has actually done quite well for Mypo this year. Hes probably one of their major fowards now that both Semmler and Blake have both left.

Would be amazed if he were getting a game in Meningie's A Grade- has been struggling at current team which is supposedly in weaker Mallee League

Yeah Smelts been playing CHF and doing a ok job, he's a smart player and one of the biggest on the field so he demands a good backman. I think Mypo will struggle for the remainder of the season

I think youd have to be pretty good to walk into an A grade side at this time of year...

I reckon the bloke might be thinking of playing for the club next year

Hey crowmuncher - Interested in playing down Meningie next season?

I think the crowmuncher has been towled up by Meningie too many times to leave too many scars for him to go down there
